Hazardous Materials

Gas leaks, fuel spills, and industrial releases are all emergencies handled by Bath Township Fire Department. Trucks carrying hazardous materials pass through our community every day via federal highways, railroads, state routes, and local roads. Bath Township is also home to multiple industries, commercial businesses, and warehouse complexes where chemicals and other products are manufactured, stored and shipped.

Our full time department staff are members of the Allen County Hazmat Team which is a multi agency team under the direction of the Allen County EMA.
